Dancing With Myself

Hello again,

Well I've put up some of the photos from the dance photography course. I might put up some more in the next little while but I'm quite happy so far with them.

The barbering course is going well and I've been lucky enough to have had volunteers each week (and no ears chopped off yet!).

Also next week I have an interview for some part time work so it'd be great if I got that. Things are moving again and that's always good.

I'm just curious: where did you get the stock for your icon? It looks interesting, but I didn't see it in your archive.

wow hi!
Firstly, thank you so much for your comic :) I loved it from beginning to end.

Secondly I took the photo that is my icon. I don't have it uploaded to here on DA due to some more complex copyright things surrounding the company I was working for when I took it. But it is taken, edited etc. all by me and I'm very proud of it. It is one of the first shots I took when I started to work as a photographer full time.

I'm currently working on a lot of new stuff that I CAN upload on here now that I am no longer with the company I was previously so prehaps I will change my icon soon. I'm not sure.

Thanks for noticing it though :)

It's very nice and has some interesting drama. Is that a plastic mask around the bottom half of her face? The whiteness of her skin is also very appealing and creates eye-popping contrast.

That aside, thanks so much for reading Material Girl!

It's actually long black satin gloves.
Her friend was there so I got her friend to put on the gloves and to reach her hands around from behind and put them over her mouth.
I really like the effect.
